Career Assessments

I am pleased to announce that I am offering online career assessment services to my clients during the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes Assessments for learners in Grade 9, to assist them in the exploration and selection of subjects for Grade 10. Online career assessments are also offered to Grade 11 & 12 learners wishing to explore their study and career options, as well as adults in career transition.

With the Online Career Assessment services the focus is on the discovery of the individual’s potential and competencies, their career-related interests and personality styles, their career values, their knowledge of the world of work, and their career decision-making readiness, to assist them in making an informed decision regarding their future.  This service includes an online intake (initial consultation) session, the assessment session and an online feedback session.  This service also includes a comprehensive report consisting of results and recommendations, as well as information regarding relevant study and employment opportunities (or information on relevant subjects for the online subject choice assessments), higher and further education and training institutions, bursary information and financial support resources.  The entire process takes place online, from the comfort of your home.

The focus is on the discovery of the individual’s potential and competencies, their career-related interests and personality styles, their career values, their knowledge of the world of work, and their career decision-making readiness, to assist them in making an informed decision regarding their future.  This service includes a face-to-face (initial consultation) session, an assessment session, and a feedback session.  This service also includes a comprehensive report consisting of results and recommendations, as well as information regarding relevant study and employment opportunities, higher and further education and training institutions, bursary information, and financial support resources.

The Career Transition Assessment services are aimed at assisting adults, looking at changing their career path, with their choice of study, career and employment. Adults in career transition may benefit from career counselling to explore their options, and engage in narrative career counselling to navigate their further career development as well.  The focus is on the discovery of the individual’s potential and competencies, their career-related interests and personality styles, their career values, their knowledge of the world of work, and their career decision-making readiness, to assist them in making an informed decision regarding their career path.  This service includes a face-to-face (initial consultation) session, an assessment session and a feedback session.  This service also includes a comprehensive report consisting of results and recommendations, as well as information regarding relevant courses, workshops and employment opportunities, training institutions, bursary information and financial support resources.
