FOR PROFESSIONALS

The aim  of our CPD activities is to create more content specifically for and relevant to Psychometrists and the Psychometry field.  Psychologists and Registered Counsellors are more than welcome to attend/ join in and will also be able to earn CEU’s, but we have found that there is a shortage of interactive activities focused on psychometry, that are aimed at upskilling and furthering the knowledge of Registered Psychometrists.

The HPCSA regulation of Continued Professional Development (CPD) for all registered practitioners is a valuable way for all professionals to enhance their knowledge and skill.  As of January 31, 2025, the HPCSA’s new CPD rules for psychology require that practitioners accumulate 30 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points per year.  These points are valid for 12 months from the date of the activity. 

The focus of these activities, however, is not only on the CEUs, but rather on helping Psychometrists develop their skills and knowledge to better serve their communities.   This practice is accredited by the HPCSA as an accredited service provider. Therefore, attendees to CPD workshops receive CEU’s that are automatically uploaded to their HPCSA CPD portfolio.

Training events and workshops for CPD purposes are presented according to a flexible schedule and can be arranged on request for groups of professionals and small interest groups.
